QRCS signs pact with JRCS, IFRC to combat Covid-19 in Jordan
Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) has entered into a tripartite agreement with Jordan Red Crescent Society (JRCS) and the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), to work together in the fight against coronavirus (Covid-19) in Jordan. The signing ceremony was attended by a high-profile delegation from QRCS, currently on an official visit to Jordan, comprising secretary-general Ali bin Hassan al-Hammadi, International Relations and International Humanitarian Law (IHL) head Dr Fawzi Oussedik, and IHL co-ordinator Zahra Adnan Lafi, who were accompanied by the head of QRCS’ mission in Jordan, Dr Nehal Said Hefny. In his remarks, Dr Mohamed Motlak al-Hadid, president of JRCS, highlighted the close co-operation with, and constant support from QRCS through its humanitarian operations in Jordan. Dr Moftah Tuwailib, director of the IFRC Office in Amman, Jordan, praised the effective joint work with QRCS.More Related News
