QRCS, Al-Ahli SC sign agreement for humanitarian cooperation
Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) signed a co-operation agreement with Al-Ahli Sports Club on Monday, aimed at supporting humanitarian initiatives in Qatar, exchanging experience, and promoting a culture of voluntary and charitable work among athletes. The pact was signed by QRCS CEO Eng. Ibrahim Abdullah al-Malki and Al-Ahli Sports Club chairman Abdullah Yousef al-Mulla at a ceremony, attended by QRCS Volunteering and Local Development Division’s executive director Muna Fadel al-Sulaiti, and Al-Ahli Sports Club general manager Aref Abdulrahman al-Abdullah. “This partnership builds on QRCS’ endeavours over its four decades, seeking to create a network of strategic relations with government and other organisations in Qatar,” said Eng. al-Malki. “We believe in the importance of sharing efforts, ideas, and resources, in pursuit of the ideals of corporate social responsibility (CSR)”. “The coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic necessitates concerted efforts from all organisations. As an integral part of the Qatari society, it is our responsibility to have solid relations with different components of society. We share the same concerns and goals of advancing the community and improving individual conditions of living, guided by Qatar National Vision 2030,” he added.More Related News
