QFFD to support construction of maternity hospital in Kazakhstan

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani met yesterday in Nur Sultan with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan H E Mukhtar Tleuberdi.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation relations and regional and international developments. The Deputy PM and Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed the State of Qatar’s keenness to deepen cooperation with the Republic of Kazakhstan in various fields, and to promote and develop the distinguished relations between the two countries to broader horizons. Minister of Foreign Affairs and his Kazakhstan counterpart attended the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) and Kazakhstan regarding support for the construction of a maternity hospital in Almaty province in Kazakhstan.
