QFC discusses emerging opportunities as Qatar moves to post-pandemic economic recovery phase

Doha - The Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) hosted an economic expert roundtable through visual communication technology, to discuss how to take advantage of the emerging and increasing opportunities with the expansion of the Qatari economy, with the participation of a number of experts from the State of Qatar in the fields of business, policy and research.

The event included holding extensive discussions between representatives of some Qatari institutions as part of the roundtable work, during which they focused on the most important areas that will have a vital role in achieving a sustainable and equitable economic recovery, including enhancing the competitiveness of the State of Qatar, foreign direct investment, and ways to better utilize from the data provided by the Planning and Statistics Authority in developing more effective policies and carbon pricing mechanisms. The meeting also included an introductory session on the QFC's current trends, and its most prominent contributions to the Qatari economy in general, and in the post-COVID-19 economic recovery phase in particular.
