The fund is expected to provide financial support to medical students struggling to pay tuition fees and meet other education-related needs, enabling them to continue their studies and achieve their goals. The fund aims to support education, contribute to competence development, establish a link between students, alumni and medical institutions to provide employment opportunities in the future, in addition to contributing to the education development and investing in the human mind for the benefit of society.Abdulaziz Jassim Hejji, director of Customer Service and acting director of marketing, expressed his happiness at launching this charitable project, which will significantly contribute to supporting the medical field of the country. Hejji said that this project is an extension of Qatar Charityâs cooperation with academic institutions and comes in recognition of the importance of strengthening efforts to achieve sustainable development goals and Qatar National Vision 2030. He stressed that Qatar Charity is keen to support and encourage all societal initiatives to benefit society. Dr Hamad Al Jab, general supervisor of the initiative, thanked Qatar Charity, which adopts and promotes volunteering and humanitarian initiatives to serve the Qatari society, and provides an appropriate tool that can bring together philanthropists and relevant bodies to find solutions to a problem, which is faced by many students and deprives society of significant capabilities in the medical field.âThe fund has always been my dream, and thanks to Qatar Charity and other bodies, it came into existence,â said Jaber. He urged all benefactors in Qatar and all relevant bodies to support the initiative, which, as he expected, will successfully find innovative solutions to a problem that has been facing students and enable them to continue their education, in addition to supporting health centres and hospitals in the future. The fund seeks to provide volunteering opportunities and volunteers to work in the medical field at hospitals when needed, provide human resources, benefit from medical capacities, publish scientific research and involve supporters as partners in medical research. The fund also seeks to provide educational opportunities like continuing medical education programmes, offer medical services to healthcare institutions through the medical students of Qatar University and improve the quality of the provided medical services.More Related News
