The Qatari Forum for Authors (QFA) held at the Ministry of Culture and Sports the 13th session of the 'Qatar Mirqat of Oratory' initiative, which comes within the activities of 'Doha-Capital of Culture in the Islamic World for 2021'. In his speech during the session, linguistic expert and supervisor of the initiative Dr. Ahmed Al Janabi said that this session is considered the third round of critical oratories, where speakers listen to a typical speech and then criticize it constructively, and the criticism in this tour will focus on body languages. Famous speeches have been orated, and oratory-related body language have been defined during the sessions. Abdullah Al Khalaf said that body language can be expressive or confusing; as some people are able to master body language, by expressing it and emphasizing their speech, while others tend to express very little or stand still- not moving at all, which highly effects the quality and impact or their speeches. Dr. Al Janabi also announced the names of the winners in this round of the Mirqat initiative. Among the speakers, Ayat Hamad won the first place, while Hafsa Rakrak won the second place, and the third place has been withheld.More Related News
