Qatar to host FIFA Arab Cup 2021 draw at Katara on Tuesday

Doha: The Opera House in the Cultural Village of Katara will host on Tuesday (April 27) the draw for the FIFA Arab Cup 2021, organised by the International Football Association (FIFA) in partnership with the State of Qatar at the end of this year, about a year before the country hosts the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The draw will be held at  9pm, with limited attendance, in line with the precautionary measures to limit the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic. Twenty-three Arab teams are participating in the tournament, and their matches are held in six of the 2022 World Cup stadiums, and a number of these stadiums have hosted matches within the tournaments recently hosted by the State of Qatar, while others are witnessing the final stages of construction work.
