Qatar sends medical supplies to aid Iran's COVID-19 efforts

Tehran: A shipment loaded with about 9 tonnes of urgent medical aid sent by Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) arrived yesterday in the Islamic Republic of Iran, carrying medical supplies to address the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, via an airlift of Qatar Airways planes, in coordination with the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Tehran.
The urgent aid comes to complete implementation of the directives by Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The assistance is implemented in phases and there will be additional medical aid shipments. Waiting for the arrival of the cargo were Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Iran H E Mohammed bin Hamad Al Hajri along with Undersecretary of the Iranian Health Ministry for International Cooperation Affairs, Jalal Naeli, and a number of Iranian officials.More Related News
