Qatar, Russia discuss cooperation in IT, communication

Doha: Minister of Transport and Communications H E Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti met yesterday with Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Maxut Igorevich Shadayev at the sidelines of the activities of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) which runs in the period from June 2 to June 5.

 The meeting discussed aspects of cooperation between the two friendly countries in the field of communication and information technology and means of further enhancing them. The two officials also discussed a number of matters of common interest between the two friendly countries. The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MOTC) is participating in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) as part of the State of Qatar’s Pavilion at the Forum.
