Qatar participates in Arab Health Ministers' Council meeting

Doha: Qatar participated in the 55th session of the Arab Health Ministers Council, which was held on Sunday on the sidelines of the World Health Assembly in Geneva through videoconferencing.
The meeting reviewed several important topics, including the draft Arabic strategy for obtaining (Covid-19) vaccines, the mechanism for its implementation, unifying efforts to ensure equitable provision and distribution of vaccines to Arab countries in addition to the health conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories including East Jerusalem and the occupied Syrian Golan. The meeting also reviewed the draft Arab strategy for a health-friendly budget and the Arab Council for Health Specialties. The Decision of the Ministerial Council for Tourism No. 290 on supporting the relaunch and revitalization of the tourism and travel sector in the Arab countries, the establishment of the Executive Office of the Arab Health Ministers Council, in addition to the draft unified address of the Arab Health Ministers Council before the 74th session of the General Assembly of the World Health Organization.More Related News
