The ambassador made the remarks at a reception hosted on the occasion of 43rd National Day of Iran, at the Diplomatic Club in Doha on Wednesday.Present on the occasion were Minister of State and President of Qatar National Library HE Dr Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kawairi, Minister of Transport HE Jassim Saif Al Sulaiti, Minister of Commerce and Industry HE Shaikh Mohammed bin Qasim Al Abdullah Al Thani, Minister of Commerce and Industry HE Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani, Director of Department of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HE Ambassador Ibrahim Fakhroo, Eritrean Ambassador to Qatar and Head of Diplomatic Corp HE Ibrahim Ahmed, dignitaries, and members of Iranian community and guests.Ambassador Dahghani said that President of Iran Ebrahim Raisi and the Amir of Qatar His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani have always emphasised the expansion of cooperation in all fields.âI would like to take this opportunity to thank the Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and my colleagues at Qatarâs Ministry of Foreign Affairs for their efforts to expand bilateral relations with Iran. Undoubtedly, the promotion of relations is in the interest of the two nations and the two governments,â he said.The envoy said the Government of Iran has always stressed on dialogue.âWe have always stressed that interests and security are not created unilaterally, and that collective mechanisms for dialogue should be established between the countries in the region,â he added.
