
Qatar exempts passengers vaccinated with Covishield in India from quarantine

Qatar authorities have confirmed that those who have obtained Covishield Vaccine in India are eligible for quarantine exemption at the time of entry into Qatar. Passenger should have obtained 2 dose, completed 14 days after the 2nd dose and carry the Vaccine certificate.
As per the new advisory by Qatar Authorities, with effect from 25 April 2021, passengers travelling to Qatar are required to carry a negative Covid-19 RT-PCR test certificate from an accredited lab done within 72 hours of time of arrival.
The Indian embassy in Qatar Friday said that Qatar authorities have confirmed that those who have obtained Covishield Vaccine in India are eligible for quarantine exemption at the time of entry into Qatar.
"Passenger should have obtained 2 dose, completed 14 days after the 2nd dose and carry the Vaccine certificate,” the embassy said in a tweet Friday.
