
Qatar Embassy asks citizens to be cautious as tensions rise in Tunisia

Doha: The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Tunisia has warned its citizens who are in the Republic of Tunisia to exercise caution and stay away from crowded places as protesters faced each other after Tunisian president ousted the government.
“In case of emergency, please contact the embassy on the following numbers: 25000088, 71231600,” Qatar Embassy said in a tweet. Tunisia faced its biggest crisis in a decade of democracy on Monday after President Kais Saied ousted the government and froze parliament in a move which appeared to be backed by the army but was labelled a coup by foes.More Related News
