Doha: Qatar Cool proudly announces the recognition of exemplary customers in West Bay for their outstanding efforts in energy efficiency and Delta T optimization.

Qatar Cool hosted a recognition ceremony at its corporate office on the Pearl Island to honour the dedication of tower owners and facility management companies in achieving significant reductions in Gallons per Minute per Ton (GPM/TR), thereby contributing to energy efficiency and sustainability goals. The towers recognised for their remarkable achievements include JW Marriott, Al Areen Tower, Saeed Al Misned Tower, Qatar Insurance Company, Amwal Tower, and Al Asmakh Tower.

Throughout their tenure as valued customers, these towers have demonstrated exceptional leadership in implementing innovative strategies to optimize energy consumption and enhance operational efficiency. By adopting advanced technologies and best practices in Delta T optimization, they have reduced their environmental footprint and set a benchmark for excellence.

Delta T optimisation involves maximising the temperature difference between supply and return water, allowing for more efficient energy transfer and reducing the overall energy required for cooling.

The recognised towers have excelled in this area by enhancing the calibration of instrumentation, implementing water treatment programs, and utilizing pump automation and temperature setpoints.
