Qatar chairs consultative meeting of Arab League Council

Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the Arab League Ambassador Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al Sahlawi chaired yesterday a consultative meeting of the Council of the Arab League at the level of permanent delegates.

The meeting discussed preparations for the emergency meeting of the Council of the Arab League at the level of foreign ministers to discuss developments on the issue of the Renaissance Dam, which Egypt and Sudan requested to be held on the sidelines of the consultative meeting of Arab foreign ministers scheduled for tomorrow in Doha. Qatar holds the presidency of the Council of the Arab League in its current session since March.
