Doha, Qatar: As part of their commitment to supporting children with cancer and providing necessary psychological care, the Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) in collaboration with General Takaful Company, visited children with cancer at Sidra Medicine.

The visit aimed to provide psychological and emotional support to the sick children and their families, fostering a positive spirit and hope, while highlighting the importance of psychological care in the healing process.

During the visit, they distributed gifts and recreational games to the children.

General Manager of  Qatar Cancer Society Mona Ashkanani noted, “Our collaboration with General Takaful Company represents a vital step towards our shared vision of providing comprehensive support to sick children and their families. We believe that psychological care is integral to the healing journey.”

Acting Head of the Department of Human Resources and Administrative Affairs at General Takaful Mubarak Al Marri said, “This initiative is part of our social responsibility and commitment to contribute to the community actively. We are delighted with this partnership with the Qatar Cancer Society to support sick children and promote a spirit of hope.”
