Qatar and US review bilateral military ties

Washington: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs H E Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, who is currently visiting the United States of America, met with the United States Secretary of Defence H E Lloyd Austin.

During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral military relations between the two countries, ways to strengthen them, and the latest regional developments. The meeting was attended by Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the United States of America H E Sheikh Meshaal bin Hamad Al Thani, Commander of the Amiri Air Force H E Staff Major General (Pilot) Salem Hamad Aqeel Al Nabit, and a number of senior officers in the armed forces.
