
Qatar administers one millionth Covid-19 vaccine dose today

Doha: Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) tweeted that it has provided one-millionth dose of Covid-19 vaccination today to a women resident. Qatar provided 26,118 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours and has been ramping up the vaccination programme in the last few days.
PHCC provided the Pfizer vaccine to the one-millionth person. Qatar has approved two vaccines – Moderna and Pfizer – for use in the country and has been providing them free to citizens and residents. Currently, people above 40 are eligible for applying for vaccine shots at any of the health centres. Qatar Airways Cargo had recently said that they have crossed a milestone by transporting over 1.5 million Covid-19 vaccine doses into Qatar, with its largest batch of more than 530,000 Pfizer and Moderna vaccines arriving a few days back from Amsterdam.More Related News
