QAF President delighted with huge success of Doha Diamond League

Doha: Second Vice-President of Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) and President of the Qatar Athletics Federation (QAF) Dr. Thani bin Abdulrahman Al Kuwari expressed his delight with the great success of the Doha round of the Diamond League, which took place at Suhaim Bin Hamad stadium with a record number of Olympic and World champions participating. 

He said that the Doha edition was a success in terms of the organization or the level of participation and competition. He thanked President of QOC H E Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani for attending the round this year. He noted that the State of Qatar has once again proven to the world that it is capable of hosting major sporting events, adding that it is something that makes the committee proud.
