PV Sindhu congratulates students during the 58th Convocation of IIT Madras

Olympic Medalist and Padam Bhushan, PV Sindhu congratulated the graduating students during the 58th convocation of IIT Madras.

The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras held its 58th convocation this Friday evening. A total of 1,962 students graduated during the ceremony, which also saw the highest number of PhDs awarded in an academic year, that is, 392. This includes PhDs, Joint Degree Ph.Ds with foreign institutions and Dual Degree PhDs. The chief guest for the event was the Olympic medallist and Badminton World Champion, Ms. PV. Sindhu.
