Rajkummar Rao wants to work with Allu Arjun after seeing Pushpa. In an exclusive conversation with Indiatoday.in, Rajkummar revealed his favorite South film actors.
It's been over two months since Allu Arjun's Pushpa: The Rise was released, but the craze has not died down yet. Allu Arjun's character Pushpa Raj and the film was highly praised by people across generations.
Bollywood star, Rajkummar Rao is also blown away by Pushpa and Allu Arjun's performance. Speaking exclusively with IndiaToday, Rajkummar revealed that he would like to work with Allu Arjun. He also said he would also like to work with actors including Fahadh Faasil, Dhanush, and Kamal Haasan.Pushpa was not only a big hit at the Telugu box office, but also surpassed the Rs 100 crore mark at the Bollywood box office. Speaking about the film, Rajkummar said, "Pushpa is an Indian film and I am so proud of it, that an Indian film has done so much of business. It is a film for the whole country. I messaged Allu Arjun after watching Pushpa. I told him that I enjoyed the film. I would really like to work with him, the way he does things, nobody else can do that."
Naming a few other actors from the South industry with whom he would like to collaborate in the future, the Badhaai Do actor said, "I love Dhanush and Fahadh Faasil a lot. I have met Dhanush a couple of times and Fahadh is a good friend. Kamal (Hassan) sir is my all-time favorite actor, I hope I get to work with him one day."When questioned about the competition South stars are bringing to the table, the actor said, "It is a good healthy competition and I believe in one. When somebody can inspire you with their work or with their films, that’s great. It just pushes you more and pushes you to work hard. It helps you to push your boundaries and envelope, to do better."Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao will be seen in the Hindi remake of the Telugu film HIT. The film also features Sanya Malhotra.
