Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday said that state cooperative Milkfed will augment its milk supply to Delhi from 30,000 litres a day to 2 lakh litres, a move which will benefit the state farmers.

Mr Mann further said Verka will also open its outlets in the national capital.
Mr Mann was addressing a gathering after inaugurating a milk processing and butter plant here.
He took to X to share his distress, describing the situation as "painful to watch" especially since he was in the US and unable to personally intervene.
