Punjab schools, colleges shut down till January 15, amid hike in Covid-19 cases

Punjab schools and colleges have been shut down till January 15, 2022, as per the latest lockdown guidelines, after witnessing rising cases of Covid-19.

Schools and colleges in Punjab have been closed for offline classes after witnessing a rise in the number of Covid-19 cases, but online teaching will continue. The state government has released fresh Covid-19 curbs, especially those of Omicron.

As per several media reports, an announcement has been made by Punjab’s Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi to control the spread of disease in the state.
