The challan has been issued in the name of CRPF DSP Harjinder Singh, who was on duty at the CM’s residence and accused of littering the surroundings.
As per the information, the municipal corporation had been receiving complaints about littering waste on the roadside near the gate and boundary wall of House No. 7, CM's official residence, following which the staff was fined for violations. However, the official refused to sign the challan.
Meanwhile, confirming the issuance of challan, municipal counsellor Maheshinder Singh said that the corporation was getting complaints from neighbours that the surroundings are being littered by the staff and visitors. The corporation had issued warnings but the violations continued.
CM Bhagwant Mann was admitted to a private hospital in Delhi late on Wednesday night after he complained of pain in his stomach. Mann was admitted to the Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in the national capital days after he drank water from the Kali Bein river at an event to mark the 22nd anniversary of cleaning of the river in Sultanpur.
