Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has decided to waive loans worth Rs 590 crore under the farm debt relief scheme for farm labourers and the landless farming community. The decision was taken in a meeting attended by Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal, Cooperation Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Additional Chief Secretary (Agriculture) Anirudh Tewari and Financial Cooperation K. Siva Prasad.
