Pune student cracks IPS exam amid grim situation at home

The results of UPSC Civil Services exam 2020 have been declared on the official website. Altap Shaikh from Baramati taluka of Pune district bagged 545th rank in the UPSC Civil Services exam.

Despite the delicate circumstances of the house, this young man from Baramati has fulfilled his parents' dream of becoming an IPS directly with hard work and dedication. Altap Shaikh of Katewadi in Baramati taluka successfully cleared the UPSC examination.

Altaf, who sold bhajiya and tea in school, has now become an IPS officer. He has the honor of being the first IPS officer of Baramati Taluka.
