Ahead of the corporation elections, the Pune wing of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is planning to launch an LGBTIAQ cell to work on the issues faced by the community.
The Pune wing of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has decided to launch its Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBTIAQ) cell. The decision came ahead of the corporation elections, keeping in mind the issues of the LGBTIAQ community.
As per the report published by the Indian Express, Mukund Kirdat, Pune district head of the party, revealed that the decision had been taken in line with the AAP's ideology towards equality and upholding constitutional values.
