The video of a Samajwadi Party leader in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur threatening a police inspector has gone viral on social media. In the clip shot inside Barra police station, SP councillor Arpit Yadav can be heard threatening the cop thus: “Tum jhanda nochoge to hum billa nochenge (If you pull down the flag, I will yank off your badge).”

Th heated exchange between the SP leader and the inspector transpired after police removed a poster put up by Arpit Yadav and his supporters on a newly constructed regional office of the ruling BJP.
