PM Modi and several other leaders, including Amit Shah and Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, paid tribute to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his 125th birth anniversary on Sunday.
Paying tribute to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his 125th birth anniversary on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said every Indian is proud of his monumental contribution to the nation.
Taking to Twitter, PM Modi wrote, "I bow to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his Jayanti. Every Indian is proud of his monumental contribution to our nation."
The prime minister will also install a hologram statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at India Gate today at 6 pm to mark the beginning of Republic Day celebrations.

"At a time when the entire nation is marking the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, I am glad to share that his grand statue, made of granite, will be installed at India Gate. This would be a symbol of India's indebtedness to him," PM Modi had said in a tweet.
PM Modi also greeted people on 'Parakram Diwas', which has been announced by his government to mark the Azad Hind Fauj founder's birthday.
