Popular film producer Narayan Das Narang passed away at a private hospital in Hyderabad. Mahesh Babu took to Twitter to pay last respects to the producer.
Popular film producer Narayan Das Narang passed away on April 19 at a private hospital in Hyderabad. He was undergoing treatment for his health issues for the past few months. Mahesh Babu and several other actors took to Twitter to pay tribute to the producer. According to reports, his last rites will take place today, April 19, in Hyderabad at 4 pm. He was 76 years old.
Veteran producer Narayan Das Narang breathed his last at the age of 76 on April 19. He succumbed to his illness after a long battle.
Narayan started his career as a movie financier in the 80s. He had bankrolled films like Naga Chaitanya-Sai allavi's Love Story, Naga Shaurya's Lakshya, Nagarjuna's upcoming film The Ghost, and untitled films with Dhanush and Sivakarthikeyan *which are in the works)."
Earlier, he was the chairman of a multiplex group in Hyderabad. He also served as the president of Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce.
Narayan Das Narang is survived by his son, Sunil Narang.
Mahesh Babu was one of the first few Tollywood celebrities to pay tribute to Narayan Das Narang. He shared a photo with him and wrote, "Shocked and saddened by the demise of #NarayanDasNarang garu. A prolific figure in our film industry.. his absence will be deeply felt. A privilege to have known and worked with him. His vision and passion for cinema is an inspiration for many of us. Strength and condolences to his family and loved ones (sic)."
