In a release, she said that ₹2,300 per quintal was fixed for normal paddy while ₹2,320 per quintal was for A-grade paddy. Also, ₹3,371 was fixed for hybrid jowar while ₹3,421 was for Maldandi jowar.
The registration centres are opened in the following taluks: APMC ward Yadgir and Shorapur, KSFCSC ward Shahapur, TAPCMS Hunsagi, Primary Agriculture Credit Society Limited Naikal.
Registration will be done based on the entry of the crop on FRUIT software. Farmers should approach RSKs’ if they face any problems with the software to get the registration done, Dr. Susheela said.
A maximum of 50 quintals of paddy and 150 quintals of jowar will be purchased from each farmer. “The farmers should bring products to the procurement centre with their own bags, and agencies should pay ₹6 per bag to farmers,” she said.
