Priyanka Chopra's mom Madhu Chopra recently revealed that she has not met her granddaughter. Nick and Priyanka welcomed a baby girl earlier this year.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas welcomed their first child, a baby girl, earlier this year. Fans were ecstatic and since then we are waiting to see the first glimpse of the baby girl. Priyanka's mom Madhu Chopra, who often visits her daughter, has revealed that she has not met her granddaughter yet.
Madhu Chopra, Priyanka's mom, in a live Instagram session revealed that she has not seen her little granddaughter yet. She also revealed that Priyanka and her baby will be soon visiting India.
During a live Instagram session with ETimes, Madhu said, "I haven't seen her. I am here and she is in LA. We do Facetime once in a while. I think she is happy and joyous. This is all I can say for now. But maybe when I go and meet her in the middle of the year, I will be able to answer this better."
She said that she has been waiting for the little one to travel to India soon. She added, "I am always hoping. Never say never. It's her country, she could come."
According to a report by Daily Mail, Priyanka and Nick welcomed a baby girl 12 weeks early. A source informed the news publication that Priyanka and Nick were planning on having a child for a long time, but because of their busy schedules, they kept delaying it. They then went ahead and contacted an agency to know their options and, in the end, they chose surrogacy. They were connected to a woman in Southern California, who they thought was the perfect match.
Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, in a joint statement, announced the birth of their first child on social media on January 21. Priyanka Chopra took to social media and wrote, "We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much (sic)."
