Writing With Fire, by debutante directors Rintu Thomas and Sushmit Ghosh, bagged a nomination at Oscars 2022. Priyanka Chopra has now lauded the makers on social media.
Writing With Fire, a documentary about Dalit women journalists, recently bagged an Oscar nomination which has made India proud. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences nominated the Indian documentary under the Best Documentary Feature category during the 94th Oscars Nominations announcement on February 8. The makers of the documentary have now received a special congratulation from Priyanka Chopra. The actress took to social media today, March 11, to shower praises on Writing With Fire.
India's Writing With Fire bagged Oscar nomination on February 8. Priyanka Chopra Jonas shared the poster of the documentary on her Instagram stories today and wrote, "Loved this movie! Way to go team @writingwithfire.film (sic),’ with a clapping emoji. She further wrote, "Congratulations on a much deserved Oscar nomination! @kl_meera @suneetaprajapati7 @rintuthomas @mentalsyrup (sic)." For the unversed ‘Writing With Fire’ is an Indian documentary directed by filmmakers Sushmit Ghosh & Rintu Thomas.
