Private schools can choose between blended or remote learning: Official

Doha: Senior Education Ministry official told an Arabic daily that private schools are allowed to choose between blended or remote education from Sunday.

Rashid Al Ameri, Director of Private Schools Affairs at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, said that the ministry has allowed private schools to choose between continuing with the distance education system or returning to the blended education system, provided that the integrated education system begins on Sunday, May 30, in an interview with the Al Sharq daily. “After improvement in the epidemiological situation and in line with the start of the first phase of the gradual lifting of restrictions that began on Friday, May 28, we found it appropriate to allow the return of blended education to facilitate our students' interests,” he said.
