QNADohaThe Cabinet has decided to permit private healthcare facilities to provide their services at a maximum capacity of 50 percent. The decision will come into effect from Thursday and will remain in force until further notice.The Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, on Wednesday amended the previous decision which suspended the provision of medical services in private healthcare facilities, except in emergency cases, and allowed any of these facilities to offer some of their medical services that can be provided through modern means of communication.The Cabinet also affirmed continuation of the previous precautionary measures taken to combat COVID-19 pandemic after listening to the explanation provided by HE Minister of Public Health about the latest developments in COVID-19.The Cabinet then approved a draft law on measures for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, and referred it to the Shura Council.It also approved a draft agreement between Qatar and Oman regarding the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of tax evasion with regard to taxes on income and capital.The Cabinet took necessary measures to ratify the Maritime Transport Agreement between the governments of Qatar and Democratic Republic of Congo.More Related News
