If you are an avid social media user, you might know about the debate on toxic work culture that was triggered by Bombay Shaving Company CEO Shantanu Deshpande's viral post on LinkedIn. For the unversed, Deshpande advised freshers to work for at least 18 hours a day in the initial 4-5 years. His post regarding the same received massive backlash online and resulted in him deleting his account on LinkedIn. Now, another post about "interesting interview hacks" to filter out "special-driven people" is doing the rounds of the internet. It was shared on LinkedIn by Pristyn Care co-founder Harsimarbir Singh and has drawn major flak from netizens.
Harsimarbir Singh took to LinkedIn to share a list that featured "interesting interview hacks" to filter out "special-driven people". The list had tasks such as calling the interviewee early in the morning or late at night. He also wrote about getting the candidates to spend 6-8 hours in office and even asking outstation candidates to show up for an interview on less than a day's notice.
The post has now been deleted but a screenshot of the same was shared on Twitter by a page called The Educated Moron. "Don't apply to work in such companies if you have even an iota of self-respect," reads the caption.
