"I was really ashamed to say it at the time and a shame to have to admit it to Harry, especially because I know how much loss he suffered," she said at the time. "But I knew that if I didn’t say it that I would do it. And I just didn’t, I just didn’t want to be alive anymore." In his new series, "The Me You Can't See," Harry is echoing his wife's sentiments, explaining that it was his tragic past that stopped Markle from harming herself.
