Prime Minister, Moroccan counterpart co-chair 8th session of Qatari-Moroccan Joint Supreme Committee

HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani and Head of Government of the sisterly Kingdom of Morocco Aziz Akhannouch co-chaired the meeting of the 8th session of the Qatar-Moroccan Joint Supreme Committee.
At the outset of the meeting, which was held Monday morning at the Amiri Diwan, HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior welcomed HE the Head of the Moroccan Government and his accompanying delegation, commending the brotherly relations between the two countries, which continue to grow and prosper thanks to the joint keenness of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and HM King Mohammed VI of the Kingdom of Morocco, to enhance relations in a way that serves the interests of the two brotherly peoples.
His Excellency expressed his aspiration for the committee's meetings to result in the contribution to achieving cooperation and mutual interests, indicating that Qatar and Morocco share views on regional and international issues, and looking forward to strengthening cooperation on issues of concern to the Arab and Islamic nations.
For his part, HE Head of Government of the Kingdom of Morocco expressed his thanks and appreciations to His Excellency and the government and people of Qatar, for the warm welcome and generous hospitality, hoping that his visit will contribute to strengthening cooperation between the two brotherly countries, as well as the achievement of the two peoples' aspired bilateral cooperation in various fields, noting that the Qatari-Moroccan relations are constantly evolving thanks to the care and support provided by the two countries leaders.
