Prime Minister meets Palestinian Prime Minister

Doha: Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani held a meeting with Prime Minister of the State of Palestine HE Dr. Mohammed Shtayyeh, during which they discussed Palestinian developments, especially with regard to the protection of Al-Aqsa Mosque and Islamic holy sites and ways to stabilize the ceasefire, in addition to the Arab and international efforts for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.

In this regard, Dr. Shtayyeh expressed his thanks and appreciation for the firm stances of the State of Qatar towards the Palestinian cause and its permanent support for the Palestinian people. During the meeting, which was held Monday morning, they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries and means of supporting and developing them, in addition to exchanging views on a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
