Prime Minister attends graduation ceremony of Joaan bin Jassim Academy for Defence Studies

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani attended Monday morning the graduation ceremony of the National Defense Course (2) and the Joint Command and Staff Course (8) at Joaan bin Jassim Academy for Defence Studies' headquarters in Al-Khor. HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior honored the outstanding students from the staff course, a number of the academy's instructors, and handed out certificates to the 32 civilian and military graduates. During the ceremony, a short documentary film was shown about the academy's founding and its achievements and the alumni's struggle during the program. HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, a number of Their Excellencies the ministers, members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the state, senior officers and officials from the Ministries of Defense and Interior, the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) and various state ministries attended the ceremony.
