President Ram Nath Kovind will stay at a private hotel in Shimla during his four-day visit to Himachal Pradesh beginning Thursday as four staffers of the presidential retreat tested Covid-19 positive on Saturday.
President Ram Nath Kovind will now be staying at a private hotel instead of the presidential retreat in Shimla, during his visit beginning Thursday to Himachal Pradesh, as four staff members of the retreat tested positive for Covid-19 on Saturday, an official said on Tuesday.
President Kovind will be addressing a special session of the state assembly during his four-day visit and will be the chief guest at the Valedictory Ceremony of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service at the National Academy of Audit and Accounts at Shimla.
