
President Biden arrives in London for funeral of Queen Elizabeth II

President Biden has arrived in London to pay his respects to Queen Elizabeth II.
The president was expected to sign the official condolence book and attend a reception Sunday at Buckingham Palace hosted by King Charles III before attending the queen's funeral at Westminster Abbey on Monday.
Mr. Biden is among many world leaders traveling to the United Kingdom to honor Queen Elizabeth's long reign. Mr. Biden and First Lady Jill Biden were greeted at the airport by U.K. Ambassador Jane Hartley, Lord Lieutenant of Essex Jennifer Tolhurst and others.

The U.S. military scrambled fighter jets Saturday to intercept three civilian planes flying near President Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, according to the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). All three aircraft had violated temporary flight restrictions in the area, the command said.
