Twitter might soon roll out Twitter Blue, its premium subscription at least for iPhone users. The updated version witht the paid subscription is visible on the App Store listing on Twitter. As on June 1, 2021, the changelog for Twitter’s latest version for iPhone reads, “Unlock Twitter Blue, a new way to subscribe to features that customize your Twitter experience. Features include: Undo Tweet, Bookmark Folders, Reader Mode.” However, it is not visible within Twitter itself, as of now. It has not been officially rolled out to users but after its listing on the App Store and accessibility to some tipsters and reverse engineer Jane Manchung Wong indicate that Twitter could launch its paid subscription service soon. The subscription service is reported to cost $2.99 a month to American users while in India it may cost somewhere around Rs 269. Earlier this month, reverse engineer Jane Man Chung Wong noted that for testing she became “the first paying Twitter Blue customer.” Tipster Mukul Sharma has also confirmed seeing in-app purchases in India. He has tweeted that the services will be priced at Rs 269 in India. Android Police reported that an Indian user was able to access v8.68 update for the app with a changelog describing the subscription service.
