Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot calls Prashant Kishor a "big brand" as the Congress holds discussions with the poll strategist to revamp the party for the 2024 general elections.
Prashant Kishor has become a big brand in the country, Rajasthan Chief Minister (CM) Ashok Gehlot said after he landed in Delhi to attend the meeting of a committee constituted by Congress chief Sonia Gandhi to make the party ready for the next elections.
The meeting was part of the deliberations being held to evolve a long-term strategy for the Congress and discuss the plan presented by Prashant Kishor.
Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot and Chhatisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel, Randeep Surjewala, KC Venugopal, Ambika Soni and Mukul Wasnik were present at the meeting.
Gehlot said, "Prashant Kishor has become a big brand in the country. He has experience of working in various states. He is a professional."
He added that Prashant is trying to bring all stakeholders in Opposition together, keeping the 2024 polls in mind.
The meeting started around 12 pm on Wednesday.
