Pragyan Ojha reveals how Adam Gilchrist realised Rohit Sharma's captaincy potential at Deccan Chargers

Pragyan Ojha revealed how Adam Gilchrist saw the leadership qualities in his former Deccan Chargers teammate Rohit Sharma, who succeeded Virat Kohli as Team India's new ODI captain on Wednesday.

Former India spinner Pragyan Ojha recently revealed that Australian legend Adam Gilchrist was one of the first people to realise Rohit Sharma's potential as a future leader when they played together at Deccan Chargers in the Indian Premier League.

Rohit was part of the Deccan outfit led by Gilchrist from 2008 to 2010. The now-defunct franchise even won the IPL in 2009 with Gilchrist at the helm and Rohit as his deputy for the first three seasons.
