Ketaki Chitale, who was jailed over an alleged derogatory post on Sharad Pawar, opened up about the arrest. Here's what she had to say.
Marathi actor Ketaki Chithale, who was jailed for allegedly posting a defamatory and derogatory poem against NCP chief Sharad Pawar, said she was molested and hit during her time in police custody.
"I was unlawfully picked up from my house, unlawfully put behind bars. I was molested, I was hit," Chitale told India Today.

Ketaki Chitale, who was arrested last month over a Facebook post, was granted bail by a Thane court on June 22.
On May 14, 2022, Thane Police arrested Chitale for sharing on Facebook a Marathi verse which allegedly referred to NCP chief Sharad Pawar in a derogatory way.
The offence was registered under section 505 (2) (statements conducting to public mischief), 500 (defamation), 501 (printing or engraving matter known to be defamatory) and 153A (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language, etc).
