
Poll-bound Punjab, Manipur among states with lowest vaccination rate for children: Child rights panel

As per details, while Nagaland has so far managed to only vaccinate 0.8 per cent of the children in the allowed age group, Punjab is a close second with only 1.8 per cent of children being vaccinated so far.
The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) on Saturday issued a notice to state governments of Nagaland, Punjab, Manipur and Meghalaya over poor performance in vaccinating children in the 15-18 age group. The commission has also asked the states to increase the vaccinations with immediate effect and submit an early response.
