Political war erupts after Mamata Banerjee decides to carve out more districts in Bengal

Trinamool Congress has defended Mamata Banerjee's decision to carve out new districts in Bengal while the BJP called it an attempt to divert attention from the SSC scam.
As West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee declared that seven new districts will be carved out of the existing 23 in West Bengal, the BJP claimed that it was an attempt to divert attention from the SSC scam case.
On Monday, Mamata Banerjee announced the creation of seven new districts: Sunderban, Ichhemati, Ranaghat, Bishnupur, Jangipur, Behrampur and one more.
Amit Malviya, BJP's IT cell head, called it an attempt to divert attention.
