Police suspect role of PFI offshoot in RSS worker's murder in Kerala

Police are suspecting the role of the PFI offshoot SDPI in the murder of an RSS worker in Kerala. Areas in Tamil Nadu with SDPI influence are being probed.
The probe into the murder of an RSS worker, Sanjith, in the Palakkad district of Kerala has extended to Tamil Nadu after the police suspected the role of the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) - the political offshoot of Islamist outfit Popular Front of India (PFI).
Police are investigating areas in Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore district where the SDPI party has an influence. Police are also investigating whether Sanjith was hacked to death by an SDPI group from Coimbatore.
