Police seize Rs 1 crore cash from man in Kolkata ahead of civic polls

The Kolkata Police Special Task Force seized Rs 1 crore cash from a man in Kolkata. 

With less than a week to go for the high-pitched Kolkata Municipal Corporation polls, the Kolkata Police Special Task Force (STF) on Tuesday seized Rs 1 crore cash from a man in Kolkata. The man was picked up from Park Street area.

The police said they acted on an input and intercepted 27-year-old Pritam Pal, a resident of Maheshtala, from Park Street.
